Galaxy, The Universe & The Earth

We know on this round earth, where everything is big, that there is land; soil, Ocean, human & animal inhabitants, layers underground and apparently a core in the middle of the earth. The core is big, the earth is big, everything on the earth is big and even we are big.

Then we look up into the sky on a calm night, and see the vast blanket of space with tiny Stars that twinkle as if they were just a mile away. They’re all so small and feel so close; as if we can touch them by climbing up a ladder. On earth everything seems “here and now - in the present”, while space seems “in the future”.

Earth can look and feel Chaotic, while looking up into space can feel calm and peaceful. “It’s in the Stars” that we look to when we wonder about things (twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are).

Eventually we wonder what’s happening beyond that sparkly blanket of calm twinkling tiny Stars, and then many of us realize how; what’s happening up there is beyond our grasp of understanding what Huge really means. So it is then we realize how tiny, we must be compared to all that is happening up there. It is unfathomable when we hear about it, it is almost unbelievable if we can make sense if it, but when we try to understand, it all starts to make sense.

The Galaxy is an assembly of stars, gas, and dust: a group of billions of stars and their planets, gas, and dust that extends over many thousands of light-years and forms a unit within the universe. Held together by gravitational forces, most of the estimated 50 billion galaxies are shaped as spirals and ellipses, with the remainder being asymmetrical. And I learned that just now by looking to the Dictionary, imagine what we can learn by looking to the Internet.

You can learn from the Links Listed below, about each Star, the gasses, the dust, the group of billions of stars and their planets, their gasses, their own dust. Learn about the thousands of light-years and forms of units within the Universe. Find out what kind of gravitational forces we’re talking about here, the galaxies shaped as spirals and ellipses, and then the remainder being asymmetrical. Find out about it all, because there’s even more to find out than just what I‘m telling you.

It’s fascinating what you can learn, how you can see and understand more, about the Galaxies; The Universe, The Planets, The Earth, and everything in between. “It’s in the Stars” that you can Learn and have fun, you can have fun and try experiments, you can try experiments and share the results with your friends online who are also interested in fascinating things.

You’ll be the fascination of the Festival when people hear what you know about the Universe, and when they ask how you know all these things, you can tell them “it’s in the Stars.”

The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education. - Albert Einstein
Neptune, Uranus, Saturn & Jupiter @ Wikipedia's Solar System Page. Click to Learn More.

Albert Einstein said; “The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.” It’s funny because when I was a kid, I can see now that I thought that way also. As simple as Loving and Intrigued completely with Time and Space and what it all meant (how it all worked), but Science class in school? No I wanted to live without that, I hated going to school, so when science class took place - I kind of missed it a lot.

At the same time while growing up, my Dad used to tell me that he saw some smarts and potential in me - and that if I wanted I could be like Albert Einstein. I replied "who's that"?, so he bought me the toys and games without telling me his plan to make me smarter. Fun yet Delicate Electric Games, Science Kits w/Tools, and Experimental Playing Toys. But all I wanted was a battery operated Star Trek Spaceship or some glow in the dark wall decals for my room in the night; of the sun, the stars, the moon and all the planets.

When we were kids and if we were lucky, we received toys & games from our parents that are scientific & experimental in structure & education. When we played with them they were so amazing we couldn’t stop (we loved the bells, whistles, alarms, wires, sparks & zappings).

The games would be small but the adventure would be huge. The things we had to do in the toy or game was a series of tiny yet exact things - but when we succeeded the results of our tiny actions were huge & exact. The exactly fun part about the results are when you’re learning; your mind says; “Wow! That was exactly what I needed to know”!

They were toys and games, but we didn’t know they were educational scientific tools that opened our mind to what was beyond our control with science, and to what can be done when we grasp a hold & understanding of science. We were smarter for it and thought it was much better than our own Science Class in school; thanks Mom & Dad.

NOVA ScienceNOW Episodes / ✦ Hayden w/Neil deGrasse Tyson ✦
Later after having the science toys and games for a while, we started acting all smart & everything, and when we went to school, we were asked “what planet are you from”? Well let’s see, there’s Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, the Earth of course and Venus? What Planet are You From?

I used to tell people that I was from Venus because in Astrology Venus is the Planet of Love, but you should see the Real Planet Venus close up - It is the hottest planet, with surface temperatures over 400 °C, most likely due to the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and with no drop of water anywhere. It may look lovely through a telescope, but you can’t really tell there’s Love on it. Do you know what each of the planets look like?

In Astrology, not just Venus but each Planet represent things of significance (characteristics, strengths etc.). Well, you head over to the Astrology Horoscopes Listing of Links from the Main Menu - for that kind of information, because here it’s scientifically documented Fact after Fact. It’s not magical, it’s not mystical or debatable, it’s scientific and it’s real. The Earth is Not Flat, There are No Pigs in Space, Men are not from Mars, and Women are not From Venus.

But if you look at the Moon clearly from the earth, you may see a face on it. This I can’t deny, and it would depend on the person looking, and whether they often see things that other people can not - and that are not there. I can make out faces in almost every design I look at while just sitting around the house, so when I look at the moon, I can see one big face on that surface. I call him Moonie The Moon Face, I’ve seen him ever since I was a Child, and to me he’s as real as the moon itself. Maybe that’s why Space & The Universe has always been of interest to me; Science & Math class however - was never my thing.

When you look up into the Sky you don’t think of Science & Math do you? Maybe you do because you’re one of those Science & Math Experts, that know probably way more than I do. There are so many people who know more than I do, I’m just a little spec on the internet universe trying to educate people about how wonderful it is to acknowledge, study and comprehend all the things having to do with Space - and that means Science & Math as well. Even if you failed them both when you were younger, you can now try to learn them and you’ll find out wonderful things.

Science & Math alone, hold the following discoveries for everyone: Agricultural Sciences, Archaeology, Astronomy & Space Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Evolution, Experiments, Instruments & Measurement, Physics & More. Buy the books and read them just for fun, and you’ll see that fun becomes an exploration of space that you did not even intend to take a hold of you.

Speaking of “taking a hold of” someone; did I tell you that when I was about 5 or 6 years old (munching on some chocolate chip cookies from the bag and picking my bum in public), that in the back of the Apartment Building where we lived; the lights from all around outside got dark and people were scared starting to run inside the Building - that one particular evening? But what happened next grabbed on and took a hold of me as a small child. The Great Moon itself, Spoke Directly to me.
